This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid counselling services offered by AKTU Counselling through aktucounselling.com. By purchasing any service, you agree to the terms below.
1. Paid counselling plans
We currently offer two paid counselling plans:
- Basic Counselling — ₹999 (one-time payment)
- Premium Counselling — ₹2,999 (one-time payment)
All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, netbanking and wallets.
2. Refund eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund if both of the following are true:
- The refund is requested within 24 hours of payment.
- Your first counselling session has not yet started.
3. Non-refundable scenarios
Refunds are not applicable in the following cases:
- The refund request is made after 24 hours of payment.
- Your first counselling session has already been conducted (fully or partially).
- You have already received a college shortlist, choice-filling guidance or any other deliverable included in your plan.
- The service was not used due to reasons beyond our control (e.g., you did not answer the counsellor’s calls or did not provide the required details).
4. How to request a refund
To request a refund, contact us within 24 hours of payment through any of the following:

5. Refund processing
Once your refund request is approved, the amount will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. The exact timeline depends on your bank or payment provider.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your paid counselling service at any time. If the cancellation is within the refund eligibility window (Section 2), a full refund will be issued. After the window has passed, the cancellation will take effect but no refund will be provided.
7. Plan upgrades
If you purchased the Basic plan and wish to upgrade to Premium, you can do so by paying the difference amount (₹2,000). Upgrades are non-refundable once the upgraded service has been delivered.
8. Disputes
If you believe a charge was made in error or you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us before initiating a dispute with your payment provider. We are committed to resolving all concerns fairly and promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
